I am a software engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. By day, I architect full-stack web platforms and scalable web systems; by night, this publication serves as an external hard drive for my curiosity.
Engineering & First Principles
My foundational background is rooted in computer science and algorithmic problem solving. Years spent working through competitive programming challenges across UVA, Codeforces, and LightOJ instilled an enduring respect for first principles: the conviction that regardless of how intricate a system appears, it is ultimately governed by predictable underlying mechanics.
Professionally, I engineer full-stack web architectures, scalable Next.js and React applications, high-concurrency booking and e-commerce platforms, and API systems. But while software engineering is my daily craft, it is only one lens through which to examine reality.
Software engineering teaches you to reason about state machines, asynchronous flows, and systemic failure modes. Once you acquire this intuition, you begin noticing the exact same dynamics everywhere: in economic institutions, historical cycles, and thermodynamic laws.
Curiosity Beyond the Screen
I have always found it impossible to stay strictly within the borders of one discipline. My reading and inquiries constantly spill across several domains:
- Physics & the Natural World: How matter, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics construct the macroscopic reality we inhabit.
- History & Civilizational Cycles: How previous technological shifts—from the movable type press to the industrial engine—dissolved and reorganized institutional power.
- Complex Systems & Epistemology: How decentralized groups coordinate, how institutions accumulate inertia, and how to maintain clarity of thought amidst media noise.
Why This Space Exists
In our heads, thoughts feel deceptively complete. We glide effortlessly over logical gaps until we attempt to explain a mechanism in rigorous, unadorned prose. Writing is my way of testing whether an idea actually holds together or merely sounds persuasive.
This website is not a resume or a corporate showcase; it is a personal publication and a public garden of ideas. If you find an essay here that sparks a thought or challenges an assumption, I welcome your correspondence.
